Art4Giving (A4G) is the brainchild of local artist Michelle Magnusson, founder of the graphic design company, Dragonfly Art & Design. Having worked in marketing for years and an active volunteer, Michelle was inspired to use her design and fine art skills to positively affect her immediate community—and create a ripple effect by inspiring others to do so as well.

Art4Giving is about giving back, making a difference with what you’ve got, neighbors helping neighbors. The community is built around an online art auction, with new local artists featured each month. The original artwork is also on display at a central Florida venue. Highest bidder at the end of the month wins the art. Online visitors can participate with comments and bids on the art in the GALLERY, by purchasing items at the Shop, finding something to do on the Calendar, finding Volunteer Opportunities, getting to know local Artists, and learning about local Charity—what services they provide and what support they need. Michelle also maintains a Blog about the art scene in Central Florida, non-profit news, and random thoughts.

The beneficiary for each month’s online auction is a different local non-profit organization each month. The beneficiary receives 50% of the month’s online art auction proceeds and 50% of the Poster Of The Month sales proceeds.
